Hero Insurance takes place in the superhero-filled city of Desvelado. You play as Jen, an insurance agent turned detective.  Mildred McGrandmother's car has been crushed, and Jen must determine who did it. Was it the infamous "Car Crusher"? Love this game. The characters and details were clever and witty. The all around diversity and uniqueness of the characters and their personalities drew me in, especially playing as a woman of colour. The game is way longer than I'd even expected, I loved that these weren't your average cases. And the music is a great added touch.

SPOILER ALERT AHEAD/ MY THEORY!

If I had to critique one thing it's the fact that we didn't completely find out what happened to Jen's brother. While it's suggested that the monch did it, we're not even sure if she's taken down. While it's cool Jen gets a job with the police after being fired, something seedy is going on under the surface. The way the insurance company kept hiding evidence against the monch, and saying cause of death for civilians was suicide... it was suspicious. I mean, I get that if they stated cause of death was suicide, they wouldn't have to pay, but to go those length two times to protect THE SAME person... HMMM it's suspicious.

I enjoyed the characters and writing. I think the GUI and controls could be a bit more polished however.

Also just so you know, in Case 1 if you enter the dive bar and talk to Hot Dog Guy, he spoils the case before you actually solve it. And in Case 3 if you look at the People of Interest folder on your computer, it spoils the supervillain.

The rare sense of justice in Jen is amusing and warming, also makes me not want to try the more cynic choice :'D

This was a game full of twists and turns! I fell instantly in love with all the characters, and the dialog never ceased to be witty! (Can't wait to see more things like this in the future!)

It's an amazing game! I love it <3

It was cute :) Nice and easy too, good way to wind down today.

HAS A VERY ORIGINAL STORY!!!

Absolutely precious game. Controls are easy to figure out and the artwork is adorable. Well done!
